Customer cannot open invoice

In E21, downloaded invoices are intermittently getting .crdownload at the end of the filename. This is due to Google Chrome thinking that our site is insecure. To fix this issue, allow insecure content for  E21 and refresh screens. The new downloads will not have the .crdownload suffix on them.  Follow the steps for either option below to resolve.

If you are experiencing the following errors when downloading a file from E21 Please choose one of the options below and follow the steps to resolve the issue.

 

Option 1:

 Click on the banner in the url bar that says not secure, then click on site settings, scroll down to insecure content and choose allow from the dropdown menu.  Close the settings tab and refresh/load E21 and you are good to go.

Option 2:

Copy and paste this into chrome:  chrome://settings/content/insecureContent

Then in the row for “Allowed to show insecure content”, click add

Then copy and paste: http://prode21webt14870.spectra.local/  into the site field and click add.

 Close the settings tab and refresh/load E21 and you are good to go.
